@Double KK Photography: Thank you. yes, indeed it seems somehow unusual (as spice) :) They call it "7-colored spice". I don't know whether it is popular in other parts of Iran or not, but it seems that in Shiraz, it is :)

@bm: Thanks. well, maybe I don't know its exact way indeed. but as it is clear, they put the different spices layer by layer on the previous layer. As a result of "gravity" the margins of the layers tend to go down more than the central parts. and it coud cause such a beautiful multi layer "hill", made up by spices :)
